Karin's Art

         

     

                         harpist, multi-media visual artist, art educator                   

  Karin Marrero is a multi-media artist residing on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay.  Her specialties include Glass Fusion, Acrylic and Water Color paintings, Commissioned Portraits and Stained Glass.

Karin's work has been shown at The Mobile Museum of Art, The Mobile Arts Council, The Eastern Shore Art Center, as well as the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, The Gallery House, The Shop Around The Corner in Fairhope, Alabama, and Fanfare - The The Mobile Symphony Orchestra Store and Misty's Gourmet Pantry.

She is an active member in both The National and Alabama Art Education Associations as well as the local Bay Area Art Educators Association.   

  Karin has a great passion for working with youth and currently teaches art at Covenant Christian School, The Eastern Shore Art Center, and Ascension Lutheran Church.  Along with art, Karin enjoys working as a professional musician with her husband Eric.  She has a B.S. in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Fine Art.  And has studied art at Indiana University, The University of South Alabama, The University of North Dakota, and Faulkner State Community College.
